This painting came from the hen and chicks growing in our yard. The fall leaves were intertwined with the hen and chicks making an interesting composition. This painting is in the private collection of my daughter.

The inspiration for this painting came from a photo I took on a snowy day while on a walk with my husband at a park near our home. The snow was so heavy that the weeds were weighed down and bent over under the weight of the snow, making a beautiful scene for this painting.

I found the inspiration for this painting in my backyard in the late fall. The leaves were wet from a recent rain and the cottonwood had a blue tint to it. It's one of my favorite paintings. I love the colors in it.

This painting is part of my Amish auction series. The photo was taken on a cold, rainy spring day at an auction. The farm was owned by an Amish family, and there were many interesting sights and painting inspirations that day. These wheels were one of several piles of buggy wheels.
